I spend some of my ""spare"" time running on the beach with my 11 year old Golden Retriever, Maize. She also helps me deliver Meals-On-Wheels to local seniors, and co-volunteers with me at a local adult daycare center as part of the Pet Cheer Program. (I'm not sure who smiles the most, Maize because she loves to be petted, or the seniors who love to pet here.)
I was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Northern Delaware.
I received a BS in early childhood education from the University of Delaware a ""few"" years ago.
I enjoyed teaching preschool for a while but ended up working for ""Corporate America"", because teaching didn't pay very well. I moved to the beach about 4 years ago & wish I had done it 20 years ago!
