In 1955 my father looked at Australia as a land of opportunity.
With no job and only hope, we took the plunge and journeyed into the unknown.
The vastness of Australia and my father's business made it necessary for me to attend boarding school.
I returned to the United States in 1965 and lived in California where I met an married Mike Jackson, a native of Fayette, Missouri.
Mike was killed in Viet Nam in 1969, leaving me with a two-year old daughter, Sherrie.
Seeking a 'kinder and gentler' environment with good moral values and friendly people, I headed for Missouri.
Since that time I have also raised my son, Ryan, a recent graduate of Rockridge High school, and now Sherrie has married and has blessed me with two wonderful grandsons.
My husband, Steve, and I met a few years ago and are now happily raising his two teenage daughters.
Being able to take time for my family is extremely important to me.
The best gifts we can give our children are pride in their accomplishments, honesty, and integrity.
My accomplishments include my pursuit of the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations.
In order for us to achieve an enriched life, we need to balance our personal, spiritual, and professional goals.
